Research Assistant Positions Available
The Faculty of Economic Sciences at the University of Warsaw invites applications for a Research Assistant positions under the guidance of prof. Mikołaj Czajkowski. The selected candidates will contribute to projects focused on Environmental Economics, Health Economics, Behavioral Economics, Econometrics.
Compensation: A monthly scholarship of up to 4,000 PLN with flexible working hours. The initial term is 3 months, with the possibility of extension following a performance review.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Strong interest in scientific research.
- Proficiency in computer programming or data science.
- (Preferable but not mandatory) Experience in academic research, proficient in writing/editing academic texts in English, econometric modeling, knowledge of Matlab or other statistical software, ability to work independently and self-motivate, interest in valuation methods, consumer behavior, and modeling preferences and choices.
- Background in Economics, other social sciences, or mathematics is advantageous.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting literature reviews.
- Analyzing data.
- Programming.
- Drafting and editing academic publications.
- Designing research studies.
